Our experience, told through language
My work as an interpreter and translator has always been linked to contexts where language does not allow for ambiguities.
I have interpreted when an international audit depends on a precise answer, when a doctor needs to convey sensitive information, when a lawyer and a witness must understand each other with absolute clarity, or when communities from different countries seek to dialogue on fair terms.
I am Rodolfo Marín Maisterra , a professional interpreter of English, Spanish, and French, with academic training in Mexico and France, and over a decade of experience in simultaneous and consecutive interpreting. I hold a Master's degree in Translation and Interpreting from the Autonomous University of Guadalajara and specialized training in legal translation and multilingual interpreting from the Institut Supérieur d'Interprétation et de Traduction in Paris. Since then, I have maintained ongoing professional development through the Mexican Organization of Translators.
Throughout my career, I have worked on international audits, medical congresses, corporate conferences, affidavits, legal proceedings, and strategic planning events with national and international organizations. I have consistently collaborated with entities such as Cultural Survival, ANAB, Global Standards, Rhizome Center, universities, and companies in the pharmaceutical, cultural, and technological sectors.
Since 2014, I have been a certified translator for the Judicial Council of the State of Jalisco, a responsibility that reinforces my conviction that interpreting is not only a linguistic skill, but also an ethical practice that demands rigor, confidentiality, and professional judgment. I have also taught French and actively participated in professional organizations as secretary of the Mexican Translators' Association.
Carax Lingua emerged as a natural extension of this experience. Not as a generic agency, but as a space where linguistic work is approached with preparation, methodology, and respect for each context. Here, every project is built upon a deep understanding of the language, the culture, and the responsibility that comes with interpreting for others.
